On February 22, 2016 the production team and I arrived at the Kelly Blue Book offices in Irvine, CA at about 6am. We had three interviews scheduled with key individuals in the company that day. This was a follow up shoot. We shot several other interviews a couple months earlier along with the Upper Diamond marketing company in Los Angeles.
We have an efficient team that works well together. It consists of a director, producer, DP, camera operator, gaffer, grip and sound engineer. At this point we would prefer shooting with a DSLR or cinema camera, but the marketing company has two Panasonic AG-HPX250 cameras that they like us to use. We shoot for about an hour and fifteen minutes with each person, running a series of 7 to 8 minutes takes.
We are now a media driven society and corporate video production has become a growing market for my production team in the last two years, and it makes sense why that’s happening. Making good use of social media and other digital distribution platforms to position a brand in the global marketplace is painstaking work, but it’s something that all companies looking to increase visibility and remain relevant must do. Through video marketing, websites, good SEO, blogs and search engines, companies can implement strategies for better brand recognition.
